they are "managing the expectation". it is always better to give conservatives estimate and beat the delivery time then being delayed.

I can only hope our cars are built and being loaded on the trains getting out of the plant. they got today and tomorrow before a 2 weeks production shutdown. The tracker just not being updated....but I assume these things are just a scan away to record the process and status and not "key in" by somebody. maybe a software glitch...or intentional delay so they can beat the time

I decided to update my dealer on my new information from Ford. They pretty much told me don’t believe it until you see it kind of thing. They are still waiting on a transit van since May due to gas prices and difficulty with truck driver staffing. ? UGH.

I sure hope you guys are correct....we have module data since Monday. my original scheduled built date was 7/2.

if the car was to scheduled to deliver to Kentucky as early as 8/5, I'd assume it is already built and passed QC and maybe even on a train already. Especially based on some conversation in the Waiting Room about train shipping time...

But, I have my doubt. So close...yet so far away.....
Perspective, the module is one of the last stops. They can plug the module in, and remove it. They call it a zombie at that point as they address build issues. This was the case with "lot rot" vehicles with missing chips. I'd argue if you have modules and all the chips are in place it's built and going through shipping prep. Expect a month or less.

Fingers crossed, you would think that would not be privileged information and they would share it with customers when they query.

Following the railcar. Mine was at the ALS connection yard in Illinois this morning. Guess that means it is transferring to CSX to make it's way to Virginia

I get what you are saying, that's why every dealer has a full visibility report available. Some do a better job, some do nothing and either are...or play ignorant.
It's just a bad time for everything. Economy is blown to crap, nobody wants to work, drivers are hard to find, fuel costs are nuts, supply shortages etc. Some build back better plan...
It seemed to take me forever. Couldn't wait. Got lucky and my exact build dropped in my lap a month ahead, and my actual build arrived on time making someone else very happy...it will come, if the module shows all the chips...it's go time

Seems like most with the production week of 6/27 is in the same place!

I hate to think it could be a bad batch of something holding up all those units when they're right at the end.
