And as you have personally experienced, the communication from Ford and the dealer aren't up to your standards. You know this is the case. At what point do you quit banging your head against the wall wishing for better? Sit back, relax and put your mind on something else. Wouldn't it be a better surprise if you didn't know anything and the dealer called up one day and said your BS was in?
Wow save those pics to your phone to document this whole journey! Iāll have to keep checking my dealer website. I thought they usually put up even the custom orders as ācoming soonā (since like everybody else thereās little to actually show for inventory nowadays) but I havenāt seen many. Thanks for the tip to check!

The other BS that's headed to my dealership went from the white background to the train background, so now I see how well I was duped by the CG pictures. Good job on that one, Ford.
At least they gave you the ETA. Hopefully it's accurate and you'll get your shipping notification today or tomorrow.

Depending on the behavior when I pick up my BS I may have to work on changing that. The lying and treating me like an idiot or a mark so far is not encouraging. Every email (from 4 different people at the dealership) has in the signature "Quick. Transparent. Less Complicated." I have a significant hard spot with that middle descriptor when I'm being lied to. They will have to put some effort into raising my opinion and rating. A friend suggests I keep Hanlon's razor in mind, but I wonder with that shouldn't be the opposite for car dealers.
