Then used a piece of aluminum (it just looks like an aluminum road sign… nothing to see here, move along..??

Now I’ll have to undercoat it to cover the screws!

I wonder if spraying those things with bedliner would be a good preventative move?

FWIW When Ford contacted me via email I gave a thorough review of everything from the dealer to the vehicle. I advised them that it seemed petty to omit an engine shroud cover. I also advised the same as omitting seat back protectors and fog lights from the "BB Package" I was able to get my seat back protectors by not the window sticker but the actual build sheet specifications. It was based on production date of the vehicle. The decluttering seemed to change as supply lessened(common sense). I still feel that even on a $31,000 compact SUV minor things like the seat back protector and engine cover should be there. The fog lights I understand but that could be retained also.

Finally getting around to posting these after decals were installed. Tinted the front windows to match the back, added the topographic vinyls on the quarter glass, and installed the Yakima roof rails.
getting clear bra done on the front tomorrow since I already have a rock chip and looking for some beefier tires.

Needed to intersect and perforate liner
Used Kydex to fit form cut zone (worked great)

I may run a test on one side just to see how well it performs

Swapped out the OEM crossbars with a lower profile style. Like this look much better. Now to get my basket and finish setting up my rig.

I dont know if they sell that. I know all versions with a moon roof have that front black edge. Proly get a 3rd party on amazon or etsy. I know i saw colored vynil strips somewhere for top of window about 8 in thick.
