Played around with OBD Fusion app today. Lots if idling, also got an Android app going (no photos). Definitely killed my MPG for this tank of fuel.
APP says Boost is a calculated PID so cannot speak to it‘s accuracy. APP does have PIDs for Intake Manifold Absolute Pressure and Atmospheric Pressure. Maybe APP subtracts Atmospheric pressure from Manifold Absolute Pressure. I’m not a tuner so not up on that magic. It definitely reflects “Boost” when you roll into throttle on Sport mode.

Agree APP could use a better illustrated gauge. For this one maybe - boost could be interpreted as vacuum. ???

At idle it will be in vacuum. Even sometimes when you are driving at a constant speed, it will be in vacuum. Under load (accelerating) it will most likely go into boost.

Buy the other one that fits behind the touchscreen while you are ordering. You’ll want it even if you never use it. Just looks better with it there.
