Hi,

I got the G930 for my BS.
$130 on Amazon. They run many ads on here.

Works well as replacement rearview mirror. The software isn't perfect, but survivability seems good.

But, the glare is too much

What anti glare films are you using?

Also, it has a power connection on the rear camera. It does not seem to need it. Any comments?

That glare would be a show-stopper for me.
Same here. I've gotten into accidents with similar issues of reflection interfering with my view. I like the Wolfbox in concept, but it'd have to have an anti-glare coating or included film for me to commit.

I have one on my F150 and the glare is no where near that bad even on the brightest days. However, my truck is tinted including a 75% almost clear tint on the front windshield, so that may be the reason why. It is awesome, though. I love mine.

Well, the mirror needs to be positioned one way to point the front camera correctly. I think o could solve this with a louvers approach or a film. Someone must have solved this.

I know Wolfbox watches this forum. So, maybe they have a solution.

So is the camera fixed, or does it have some adjustment independent of the mirror housing?

I had an Auto-Vox that had a glare like that and I just tilted it down into the back seat so that it didn't reflect anything back. That was the best I could, that and wait for nightfall. I'm still on the fence about doing it again. The additional viewing range is great, but the glare, and the light flaring at night, whew. It's a lot.

The camera seems fixed in relation to the screen. There is some adjustment of what is shown onscreen. The screen view is a different aspect ratio than the camera.

Wolfbox does sell a glare application for the 12" screen. They also advised against trying to cut their product down to the 10" size. When I used their help bot. They said there is no solution.

I believe i can get a cutable material to accomplish this goal. I expect I'll try something from Amazon. Too bad though. I was going to get another wolfbox for my other car. Now I have to wait until I solve this.
