For what I need, the BS fits the bill perfectly. I would absolutely love a big Bronco but for my purposes its a bit overkill. It costs considerably more than a BS to get similar options, gets worse mileage, is considerably larger, and honestly I'm not into removable tops. That of course wouldn't stop me from getting a Bronco if I had the means to get one equipped like I want, but the BS for me is the more doable and sensible option.
I find it sits nicely between the Escape and the Bronco. It has the size, comfort, and fuel economy of an Escape, but it looks much cooler and has more off road capability.
It reminds me of 1990s/early 2000s Subarus with the boxy look and rugged nature (compared to most non-body on frame vehicles).
