There’s the dimensions of the u bolt I ordered.
So what's the planned use? What will it mate against, what kind of stresses/torque will it have to withstand?

It’s essentially just going to be a spacer. It’s not going to be supporting any weight. The filter that it’s a spacer for already has a mounting bracket. This is just being used so it sits level.
So, I would need two spots in the area between the openings for the u bolt, that I could secure bolts through. It’s going to be mounted to 304 stainless sheet metal.
It just needs to be an inch tall in the middle, and then the radius of the 3.5” filter housing has to somewhat look like the referenced exhaust clamp above. So, probably about 5” wide with the 3.5” on center 1/2 holes added for the u bolt to go through. And then maybe an inch deep.
Will this be a high-temp area?

Negative. Quite the opposite. Room temp at best.
