But. Even my dealer couldn’t install it (I bought it as part of an accessories order to add on the car at delivery). To their credit they phoned the manufacturer (who isn’t Ford) to find out what was wrong, then ordered an exchange cover. So will see Thursday once I’m home if they can install it so it looks as good as yours.
Yeah, at first my buddy and I gave it a go but realized a half hour into it that it’s a bitch. So I took it to Ford and some guy named Charlie was getting off work but this was his specialty. It took him an hour and 45 minutes with help from two other guys. I paid my $30 and then slipped them each a little extra. He said he has put on many seat covers but:
1) this one was the hardest ever
2) this is the best quality with best fit of any he has ever done

Yesterday I cleaned it and applied a spray ceramic coating so today I got my Mickey Thompson Baja boss AT’s, Put on the car and immediately took it to a powerline for some testing. Seems I got in 6 to 8 inches of mud and climbed one hill that must’ve been between 20 and 25°.
It’s off to George Washington national Forest Friday. Also picked up a 16 inch alloy wheel and mounted a 225/75/16 General grabber ATX, as my spare. It fits under the cargo floor perfectly.

Thanks for the info guys. Right now its down to what I find for a better deal. 235s are plenty for my needs and I've come across a couple basically new sets also on FB Marketplace for under $500 so thats primarily influencing that decision. However if I come across a set of 245s for the right price I definitely wouldn't say no haha.

Installed most of my exterior parts, hood scoop, fender flares, rear bumper protector. Still have the hitch and wiring to install. Before and after

Hey, I really like these flares better than the ones with rivets, which ones are these? Thank you!

I think I got the only size that will fit, the 245/65/17, it's an XL 111 load rated tire and is 29.8" in diameter, so it's .3" larger in diameter than the standard, for that size.
I can feel some minor difference in ride quality and it is noticeably louder, as well, but not bad.

I ordered a bunch of graphics, including the largest hood decal I could find. I got the plain Matt black.

This one is just dumb simple. Front cupholders came with a take out insert you can wash up. The rear ones did not. So I picked up a set of drop ins. About $7, search silicone cup holder insert; or you can pay double for some that say Weathertech on it.

Official Ford ones are about $5 each. https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/insert-assy-console-12254069-1 but it turns out they're about a millimeter too large for the rears.

I reverted back to the stock Continentals from my KO2's. They were nice tires and all but the mpg loss and the loud road noise that came with them just wasn't worth it to me any more. I'm happy with my decision and glad I kept my stock tires.

They are made by airdesign under the Ford logo. A little pricey but I think worth it. Easy to install with 3m double face tape and a polyurethane adhesive. A perfect fit.

Cool! So the Ford ones linked are about 1mm too large. Which ones did you wind up getting then?
