Well, today's the day we traded in our beloved Ford Bronco Sport Outer Banks and upgraded to something cooler and more capable. We traded it in for a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4-Door. It's a fully-loaded Sahara trim in a color that's called Earl Grey which is very close to Ford's own Cactus Grey. Although it was a tough decision since my mom and I loved the Bronco Sport, we have a move to New England in the near future and wanted to have a better state of mind when driving through snow country. Having a mechanical 4WD transfer case, body-on-frame construction, more refined V6 engine, and improved ground clearance will be very beneficial in sticky situations. That's why the most common vehicles sold up North are Jeeps when it's not Subaru's or Bronco's. My dad, in particular, has always been a fan of the Jeeps and loves the idea of popping the tops off during the fall or spring months and taking in the scenery. I will say, even though I personally enjoy the full-size Bronco, the Jeep has the look. My dad prefers the Jeep over the Bronco.
This isn't a full goodbye. I will still keep my account active and keep in touch. Plus, I still have interest in news regarding the Bronco Sport since it's been a great vehicle. I'll probably join the Wrangler forum but I'm not in a big hurry to do so. Just wanted to let you all know and acknowledge how wonderful this forum has been. The advice and feedback you all offer has been greatly appreciated. I hope you enjoy the pics and thank you all for your generosity and enlightenment.
