Yup. That was what I was hoping to see on mine…..
On the other hand, you could be like me, waiting for the train to offload your sport to a trucking company and wondering if your vehicle was shipped with the very last of the "good" chips, or has a bad one that was loaded before they knew they were bad.

I would like to think that the tests on the chips would have caught all the bad ones, but I have terrible luck. Hopefully I wont hear that it arrived at the dealer in the next week but I cant take it home because the chip needs to be replaced.

Been in production since 12/07. Was originally set for production 11/29. I ordered mine 08/30, the first day you could. Was hoping to be one of the first to get a 2022 but its not leaning that way. Going to ask my dealer if I don't get an update soon.

Good luck with that. I asked my dealer 2 days ago and all he could do was read the visability report which had “produced” on 12/10 and nothing else. Maybe you will have a notation in the last box about a microship. I did not so it is really in limbo.

He said it should be shipped 12/29, but of course all he did was read the original ETA date (which is not The ship date) HAD it actually shipped after it was produced. Nothing can ship on the 29th due to the planned plant closure which means he knows nada and misread what ETA meant. The 29th is actually still in the estimated delivery on the tracker which does not work since it is still in Mexico. I see yours has a January estimated delivery :)

Now I have to decipher
"Microchip At Plant On Hold"

A little punctuation would help, is it ETA Disposition:
Microchip At Plant. On Hold
or Microchip. At Plant On Hold. The latter meaning, the problem is the microchip, The former meaning, the chip is at the plant.
For a week or so the end of November and first week in December they received a bad batch of chips. So those cars were “built” and then put in a lot pending the chips. When the new replacement chips came, they are putting them into the cars in the production line and yours is sitting in a lot waiting for the chip. Unknown how long it will sit in lot.

It is common for Ford to put them in lots waiting while they build ship complete units. They do that across all the vehicle models. I almost had to be committed to mental institution when my June unit sat while they shipped complete units July, Aug, Sept, Oct. Then the day finally came end of Nov when I standing in dealer show room and they pull it out from the back. Was it worth it? Yep....
Hope they don't hold it to end of MY22 like the lot rots. That would place the cars in a 12 month wait to get them.

What mental institution? I am thinking I might have to pre reserve a room

I stayed in a room with pink rubber walls and nice nurses brought me food each day. But they would not let me go cause only cure was my new special ordered Badlands Sport at the dealer waiting to be picked up. :sunglasses:

Checked with my dealer today and the train made it to Nogales, Arizona, yesterday so my Badlands was actually in the country, though the report weirdly shows it back in Mexico 40 minutes after it was in Arizona …

He said they will most likely be able to get it to the lot several days earlier than the estimated delivery date of 1/6 because they can have it trucked over as soon as the rail car arrives. Deep breaths …

Sine you and I both received the "Shipped" e mail from Ford on 12/21.... I wonder if My BS is on the same train as yours.....hmmmm. ??
I emailed the sales manager at the dealership on 12/21 asking for the Rail Car # on the Vehicle Visibility Report but he hasn't responded back to me.

Hang in there With me!
Even though As-Built shows all the modules and ETIS shows them checked on 12/18, my salesrep checked the vehicle visibility report and it still shows a chip hold. So I have no clue as to what is actually going on down there. :crying:

Me thinks our BSs are parked in a lot while they put whatever these chips are into the ones in the production line and like the June MY21 builds forget about ours for who knows how long. Nothing will happen after tomorrow as the plant will be on scheduled downtime all next week
