Today is day 33 in production. Nothing in ETA Disposition for chip and nothing like brakes etc. Everyone I have contacted said they have no idea what happened with mine. Something must have gone wrong with the build of mine.
I'm in the same situation as you. Just as an experiment, do a google search for "VIN 3FMCR9D93NRDxxxxx" using your BS VIN. Also search your dealership website for that VIN. Find anything?

The thing I don’t understand is that it was on a stop ship because of this brake recall. Then it shipped. Which made me think it was fixed or didn’t have the recall. Now the day before it due to be delivered. The recall hits.
If there is one thing I’ve learned through this ordeal, it’s that Ford is not well-managed, and does not manage situations well. I’m not sure what is going on, but I do know that they have not yet fixed any of the brake recalls because they don’t have a solution to the problem yet, and as far as I’m aware, they haven’t even started giving notice to people who have already bought Bronco Sports.

It seems that all of the left over 2021 lot rot models began to ship at the same time. It could be that they decided to just get them out of the factory and let the dealerships deal with it so they could focus on 2022 models and wouldn’t be bogged down with the 2021 recall repairs.

I did notice that in the Ford Pass app, there isn’t a notification of recall for mine like there was with the fuel line recall. It’s against federal law but I’m hoping they just let me take the car without the recall being repaired. I can’t wait another 3-4 months.

Nope. I even had a Ford employee who works in Detroit on BlueOval run everything on Monday for me when he got back from his vacation to Ford and he said same thing. It is as the plant but nothing more than that shows. Not built or shipped.

Ahhhh, I assume you cancelled that order Or did it ship without you knowing it or did the dealer not tell you it was there?

The estimated delivery for mine changed this week to February.

Have you called them? There have been plenty of instances where customers have been screwed over with their custom order being sold to someone else when it shows up at the dealership

Sales manager just called me. It’s on a train in Texas making the last leg to Louisiana. There is no sales hold on the vehicle. So say as soon as they receive it I can pick it up. I will believe that’s once I get that phone call.

Fingers crossed for ya. Interested to see if they let you take it with the open recall. ??

None of the above, still waiting for delivery with a now passed ETA of 1/2/22. My guess is that the dealer posts all customer orders on the website to generate potential sales leads if the sale falls through.

I got so fed up when mine sat in Mexico I called dealer and canceled. Dealer said ok but how about we call you when it comes in case you change mind. I said sure why not. Not knowing and being in the dark will drive you nuts it did to me. I was like you I did not need a new car and did not need the grief either. So maybe if it ever shows up and if so take for a long test drive look it over closely. I had every intention of rejecting mine when I went to see it because I do not need to deal with rattles strange noises dealer can't figure out ect. But mine drove so well and looked so good I bought it. Was it worth it in the end? Yep.

Good to check, but FWIW my dealer has several 22 retail orders listed on their website as 'for sale.' When I inquired about them, salesman said they weren't actually available to buy. I think whatever system dealers use 'automatically' lists the retail orders on the website as if they are available. Helps drive traffic to their website, etc. I mean that's how I ended up on their website and ultimately put in an order with them.

Mine was never listed on my dealers web site. But other dealers do list customer ordered vehicles on their sites.

Shoot maybe in 2023 models they will have the paint issue addressed along with coolant/water pump issues, rattling manual cable that everyone disconnexts, rippled door metal, flaking leather seats, etc.
I am still waiting for my paint to fall off, windshield crack, park cable rattle, trans go grrr grrr grrr, seats fall apart, dash go out, cameras go blue screen ect. Yes its all a risk. But read around between the lines there are a crap ton of ppl with no issues. But I still recommend buyer beware take long test drive look over very closely before you sign.
