an FYI on shipping: I received my BS BL last night. I was notified by my dealer that it was on rail train 6/23. it took until yesterday (3 weeks) to arrived on the east coast. I did not ask for tracking info because I'd obsessively be mashing that refresh button like you all. I did get periodic updates along the way (TX, when it got into PA, etc.). hope that helps manage your expectations. also, be prepared for delays in actually picking it up due to state emissions and detailing (holy crap was it dirty!), etc. I had to wait about 8 hours before I could actually drive it off the lot.

Excited for everyone seeing progress with their orders. To those who've been waiting longer, this may be a good sign for you too.

Anyone with a build scheduled this week? Any progress on your vehicle? Did it get fully built with all control modules in place and reasonable delivery ETA or is it going to the waiting on a control module purgatory? Just curious if the line is building with all parts or just partial builds.

This is the closest that I have gotten so far to my actual build week without another production week adjustment (I probably just jinxed myself!)
Meeee tooo! I want to contain my excitement because I'm so afraid I'll jinx myself and it will be short lived! I just want another step in the forward direction!!

My build week was 7/12, shows built 7/14. Today ETIS is showing all modules installed, including the RCM that everyone is waiting for. Tracker showing 8/18 ETA and 28 day transit.

With all these positive updates to builds, what do y'all think are the chances that build schedules might be pushed forward? Is Ford keeping to their schedule the best we could hope for?

This makes me hopeful that mine may be on schedule too! We're only a few weeks apart on our time-line. Like you I had to get the OB package without the moonroof (simply wasn't an option) which my dealer thinks is the reason for the quicker turnaround.

When I ordered, I was in the same boat, no moonroof available on any trim level. At the time he estimated delivery late in August. With what was going on at the time I was figuring more like late September. Looks like his estimate was pretty close, fingers still crossed.

Ordered BB+BB(with moonroof) on 4/10. Dealer says build date is scheduled for 7/28. Just got vin number. Is there any more information I can get now or do I have to wait until it’s in production?
With the VIN number and the customer order number you can use the tracker on this site or the one on the Ford site to watch it move through the system. You can also see the window sticker from either of those tracker systems. The window sticker is usually available about a week or two before production

You can keep checking but it will likely drive you nuts til it's delivered. Hang in there. You will eventually get a window sticker (use the tracer tool on this site or the MachE site) once that happens it should move faster. Shop.ford.com also has a vin tool which shows where your status is. Saw my college buddy last night, he was encouraged with where things are going. Currently he does a lot of work with the ECMs snd parts packaging. He didn't have any major news but said it's rolling down hill and picking up steam.

Badlands/BL package, tow, 360+, Falken tires, Cyber Orange - ordered 18 March
Ford Tracker says "order in processing"
Have had VIN for well over a month.
Have never received an E Mail from Ford
My weekly call to Ford Marketing says I'm scheduled to go into production 23 August.

I view this as good news as it has not changed in three weeks.
i think it is just as likely that Ford will never produce this as a 2021, but will change this to a 2020.
Am trying to retain my good humor as I see identical orders with newer order dates go into build status.
If I actually needed this vehicle in the near future, I would cancel the order, but I will wait it out just to see how this comedy ends.

Hopefully we will see improvements over the coming months. F150 guys still complaining on the F150 forums that new trucks rolling off the line getting put in yards with 10/31 dates with on hold microchip. But Ford is and has been shipping a bunch of F150s. But quite a few F150s from March/April still sitting in yards. So will take time to get them all completed delivered. But at least some progress has been made with respect to F150s.

Very bad time to be buying any new vehicle. Shortages severe and wide spread on all brands.

It was my understanding they can prioritize high demand, accessible supply vehicles and get those on the streets instead of committing ten chips (no idea how many are really in any build)...to five trucks and still not have the moonroof/tow/360+ etc. If you can build 20 lower trim using those same ten chips you sell what you can sell (again I am making an incredibly basic and simple scenario this is Not indicative of how it's been managed or how many chips are required)

Yeah I think supplier issues other then chips come into play. Most likely Ford is still struggling with BS moonroofs because non-moonroof units seem to get built delivered. You can find non-moonroof Badlands in transit to dealers fairly easily. Moonroof Badlands very scarce right now near impossible to find.

Has anyone who ordered an OB+OB (including moonroof) received any good news lately? I ordered mine back in March.
I ordered a BL + BL Pkg (includes moonroof) on 3/18. In Production on 6/17. ETA 11/03.
Etis is still showing no RCM.... so no good news for me today.

Saw my salesman yesterday, he showed me where it on hold for the chip.
He had a positive attitude that it will be shipping soon. Well, that's one of us :)
Joking aside, I'm hoping for the best while preparing the worst.
