Location is only updated when a vehicle is turned off. Plus you don't know if it was activated with the chip it's shipping with or with a test chip, so anything you get for location from the factory is suspect.
I wish I had answers, it does seem like a microchip issue though. If it is inside the factory, the are working on it. They leave them out in the parking lot to the left of all those rail lines when they’re not working on it. Mine was very specifically inside where the yellow arrow goes when they turned it off and the location was marked on my FordPass.

It litterally took 3-4 weeks to even "ship" mine after it was built. And another 2-3 weeks to even get it to delivery point. So seems about normal as of late.

I’m at 7+ since I’ve ordered. So I’m not happy. But reskins with each wait. Nice to see there are others that waited long and ultimately made its way out!
If I remember correctly from a Ford Chat (not that they know everything) most vehicles ar built and then immediately loaded on a rail car so it all happens at once and you don’t notice the lag.Now I’m worried, because I’m 9 days in and the Built dot is filled in but no check mark:
Happy for you. Hope I get some good news this week too. I would not worry about the railroad strike. Under the Railway labor act. The President can order the railroad workers back to work. I’m assuming he will do that to prevent the economy from taking a hit. The airline industry, which I’m a part of, also operates under the railway labor act, and they have never been allowed to go on strike by previous Presidents either.I am putting it here too (and in July Builds) since I am so excited! Even though I have another wait coming.
Well, Hallelujah!! Thought the day would never come. I lost FordPass access last night Mexico time around 11:30 and tracked this morning and this is what I see On both trackers! The Lone Ranger is out of the first Purgatory!!! Hopefully all of us will be shipped soon and then I may need help tracking the railroad.?? Thank you to all of my friends here that have cheered me along this last week! It has been painful! Two full months in production. Now I hope the railroad does not go on strike! Fingers crossed ?
If it’s any consolation I’m still in waiting to ship at 9 days. The units in similar status is growing so we are all bottlenecking at the loading dock.I am putting it here too (and in July Builds) since I am so excited! Even though I have another wait coming.

Yes, the number in similar status is increasing slightly every day but not by an amount equivalent to factory production numbers. It seems that every day a small number go into the same status but what of the other 100 or so that came off the assembly line that day?
I think the order track app only tracks the cars of the users that have put their vin numbers into the system.
That's a good point...wonder if the rest are getting immediately loaded. I haven't seen anyone ship out in either waiting room, but they must be going somewhere since the status grows by only a few vehicles each day.
