This doesn’t bode well. Though the ford tracker shows in production on 8/22, and the modules are populated, I have no idea why they would send me this form letter.

I got that letter one month before they told me I was on a microchip hold.

If you only knew. A whole group of us (July 2022 waiting room) were told for an entire month that our vehicles (produced) were not on a chip hold and had no missing parts. Lo and behold, 4 weeks later we’re told they were all waiting for microchips. If that’s not a corporate lie, I failed the vocabulary test.

Vehicles all produced the first week of July, we’re still waiting for one of our group to be “built.”

I don’t totally disagree in this circumstance. I will say that there are a lot of levels within the company. Did Ford corporate lie about the “chip hold” or did the factory manager withhold information because of some benefit or fear of reprisal?

Your situation totally sucks and I hope it is all handled soon.

True what you say, however any corporation is the sum of the employees whom they hire to represent them.

Rail car dropped it off in Shelbyville yesterday early morning. Ten miles from my home and dealer, hoping to see it this week.

That is the same for me. The dealer told me I was supposed to have mine aug 1. Called them a week after that because of no co fact and they said on chip hold and no idea of eta. I am still sitting and waiting on that same chip hold. They originally told me there were no holds on my vehicle. Took a long time for them to tell me it was on hold. Frustrating to say the least. Now I have no faith I will get it for Christmas. Ordered April 2.

The perplexing thing is how and why they choose which cars are put on chip hold and which ones are not. I know several outer banks that were built after mine with the same options that were already shipped. Same thing with Holligan88, I’m sure many Broncos have been built after theirs was. I’m beginning to wonder if it’s a small market, big market thing. I’m in a small market, in matter of fact so small Ford has not sent my dealer a Bronco sport nor a Maverick for dealer inventory in over a year. I know in the past Ford admitted they were not using a first in first out system, but they said they were going to fix it. To me still looks like they are doing that. BTW full disclosure, I’m still sitting on a Ford Mavrick lariat order from a year ago, That one doesn’t even have a window sticker yet and productions on the 22 ends in about a month.

The good news is that there is only one of us left have not been delivered, shipped, or waiting for shipment. @Hooligan88 has been a trooper, her FordPass activated this weekend and she’s been able to see it moving around the factory grounds. I knew mine was almost finished when the disconnected my FordPass to put the microchip in. It was a sad day to lose access to seeing my vehicle, but it went from “In Production” for five weeks straight to “Shipped” (Ford Tracker) and “In Transit” (Order Track). Never received a “Built” notification except for the check mark. I’m hoping her FordPass deactivates soon so we know it is fully chipped And she can leave #FordPurgatory

I am a little nervous. FordPass was activated on Thursday night and it showed the bronco has 23 miles on it and it doesn’t appear to have moved from what I can tell.

I can’t remember my exact timeline, but they drove mine all around the factory grounds. The battery was weak according to FordPass, so I’m sure that was the reason. They filled it up with gas (according to FordPass) and did some more driving. Then they drove it INTO the factory (show me a screenshot of your map) and early the next day they disconnected FordPass and really late that day it switched to Shipped/In Transit. I think yours is coming (but show me that map so I can see if it is inside the factory).
