The modules for my BS Badlands have now populated.

Does this mean it has been built?

I'd be happy to ask him, but I'm not sure if it'd track, depending on the rail line. I live in a Port City that's heavy with BNSF. I'm hoping it makes it to my city on the rail versus stopping in another town, that would make the trucking portion much shorter, but who knows how these things work.

Coming to PNW it will go UP to Portland then truck from there if you're in Oregon or Washington. When you have a sticker the ramp should be Barnes unless they changed things. The run from Nogales to Portland seems to be 11 days most times.

"In production" status happens generally about 7 days prior to "built." The first 5 days are prep, then it's a couple of shifts at the factory to put it all together. If you search for the picture of a BS VVR you can see the discrete steps as they happen under normal circumstances. Sometimes the factory is slow or backed up and the production status phase can take 2X-3X the normal 7 days.

I could be wrong but it looks like the system updates frequently. My Badlands was showing as ”in production” until about 45 minutes ago.

I called Ford and found out that my BS is being built on 9/3 and the ETA is 9/21-9/27

I’ll keep looking. As long as I don’t get the dreaded “chip hold” I’m sure it will be done by tomorrow

This doesn’t bode well. Though the ford tracker shows in production on 8/22, and the modules are populated, I have no idea why they would send me this form letter.

So I called Ford this morning. They said my BS is built and awaiting shipment. They also said they have problems with the tracking website and mine just happens to be one lost in the matrix

Woke up to this this morning! Still no window sticker, but at least now it’s in production, so that’s cool!
