Says updates not available for this vehicle. it wouldn’t let me register it either. I wouldn’t think it would if I don’t technically own it yet?

I know I’m not the only one who saw Sync updates. When did your modules go live? My FordPass is actually activated, I think by accident because I clicked on it when my vehicle was actually turned on for a moment down there, but it said I needed to be in my vehicle to hit something on the screen to fully activate it. Earlier this week someone must have moved my car on site and hit the activate button because I received an email and app notification that my FordPass was activated (I was visiting family in FL at the time).

I can’t remember when they were live. I think I checked them on july 7 or 8 maybe. This whole process has been weird. I know we will eventually get them but I hate not knowing when…

Hope the Bronco Sport is all you want and expect it to be once it finally arrives and it is all said and done!

I'm out of the waiting room too as posted in a another thread, but only because I found another brand/model vehicle locally I had been considering as well that I could work out a great deal on that ticked all the boxes for me in the performance, enjoyment, features, utility, and ergonomics departments.

I had no problem getting my dealer to refund my $500 deposit. Of course I was clear up front that should anything not work out for whatever reason they would refund my deposit and they agreed. If you find yourself in a similar boat buying something else, don't let them try and tell you that the deposit is "non-refundable". They're just going to turn around and sell it to someone else anyway and should thank you for the additional vehicle to sell.

I'll still poke in from time to time to see how things are progressing for others and the BS info and goings on in general.

I've been to A LOT of dealers and looked at A LOT of cars online and in person over the past 4+ months and glad to be out of the waiting room!

Unfortunately it hasn’t been active since that morning. I’m hoping when they drive it onto a rail car (unless that’s why it was driven the last time) it will become active again. I think it’s amazing that I woke up that morning right when all of that happened, it was around 4:30 AM.

I emailed Ford customer service asking to get confirmation of the $1000 incentive that existed when I ordered in December. They emailed back, and didn't really confirm that certificate as far as I could tell, but sent me a new personal one? A private cash offer. It came with a certificate number but the email doesn't say how much it's for! I guess at least I know I'll get something. Assuming I get my car before October because that's when it expires lol.
