I continue to get nothing from my UP trace. Are you guys saying the entire rail car ID or just the last 6 numbers?

I wonder if it's just too early to trace as it only shipped on 6/7 and might not be across the border yet.

Should be 2 or 4 letters and 6 numbers. Mine is TTGX158665. Yours should be in some form such as that. If UP hasn't picked it up in Nogales yet there may be no status.

Im in Michigan so CSX .. but I am getting status and says it's still at Agua Zarca just south of the border.. been sitting there for a day.. ugh . Just let it get to the USA please

Prawn.. I called CSX with your rail ar number.. it says it is empty and released to the customer in San Bernardino California....

CSX won't have the info for mine, it's going UP.

Was there a date? I called CSX using my rail car ID and it was last in Michigan in early May. The rail cars move around so each company could each have statuses for the same rail cars.

CSX or UP will only have info for the most recent time they handled that particular autorack. Yours should be going Union Pacific, not CSX.

Well they did ..

They have info only for the last time they moved the autorack. Once they release it they won't have new data until they pick it up to move again.

It finally worked for me on the UP trace number. It turns out I don't speak the robot dialect of English very well.

My train is scheduled to be at the West Colton, CA interchange on June 11th at 8PM. I think it has to change lines near LA for the journey north.

It left Nogales, AZ yesterday at 4:12PM. So it's somewhere between Nogales and San Bernardino/LA, where it will switch tracks and head north at West Colton (San Bernardino) on the 11th.
