Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment. = MOLLE

MOLLE (pronounced /ˈmɒl.liː/, similar in pronunciation to the name Molly) is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment. It is used to define the current generation of load-bearing equipment and backpacks used by a number of NATO armed forces, especially the British Army and the United States Army.

The system's modularity is derived from the use of Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS) webbing equipment as rows of heavy-duty nylon stitched onto the vest to allow for the attachment of various compatible pouches and accessories. This method of attachment has become a de facto standard for modular tactical gear, replacing the All-purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment (ALICE) system used in the earliest modular vest systems (which is still in use with many police forces).[1][2]

I find these things on the seat backs to be more of a pita to use for anything useful. They seem very narrow.
Help me like and use these things. Only use I’ve found so far is for pens.
I think they are narrower than normal molle straps. I have a gun holster that fits on other molle strap systems just fine but won't work on these. Had to buy a different type of holster to work there, but it's where I park my S&W when I'm sleeping in the Bronco (car camping.)

My wife uses a large water bottle that won’t fit in a cup holder. I got her a water bottle holder that mounts using the molle straps. Also a couple of pouches for various things yet to be determined.

I keep multi-tools, mini-maglights, tomahawk, pen ...
small stuff that doesn't steal leg room from passengers.

I’ll have them Molly strap things on my soon to arrive neoprene front seat covers.
I still keep everything in my BHB (Bug home bag).
If my Bronco sport takes an RPG or an IED gets me and I survive I may only have time to grab one thing before the Zombies start pilling up on my doomed Baby Bronc.
That will be my BHB and it won’t be attached to those straps…………
Oorah !

I have a "dump bag" for a wasted basket and a drink holder for an umbrella. I rarely have rear seat passengers and my back seats mostly stay folded down. Easy enough to unsnap and move to back if I did need to carry passengers on the back seat.
