I have a 2025 bronco sport big bend. I had a chunk of ice frozen to the under body liner behind the left rear tire and when it came loose it ripped a big chunk of it off. I wont be doing any big off roading or anything, the most i will probably do will be gravel roads so my question is do i try and find a replacement felt liner and replace the whole thing or is there a better more durable alternative?

I think your options are: 1) leave it as is (if it's not hanging down, you probably don't need to worry about it), 2) you can replace it with the same crappy felt liners, or 3) you can add aftermarket skid plates. If you're not doing any serious off-roading, this is probably not worth it and you are probably better off sticking with options 1) or 2).

Isnt that thing meant to block rocks and things from going up into important things back there?

There are fuel lines and other things covered by it thats why they dont have one on the passenger side, nothing there. I would replace it if you can see exposed goodies

There is a fuel pump or filter under it. I ripped my fake skid plate the first time I took it off road. If you drive in ice, which I assume you do, it might be worth your time to install a real skid plate. I also put a skid on my catalytic converter after driving on a rutted snowy road that had ice chunks between the ruts. I've since added a lift and 235/70R17 tires to get me much better clearance.

I detailed the installation of the skid plate a couple of years ago in a different post.

There is the evap up at the front but my BL has a factory skid for that, the other bits are fuel lines and I forget what else I saw when I pulled mine off to take a look.
