It's hard to believe two years have gone by since picking up my Badlands. 17,200 miles later and I have zero regrets. I'm grateful that I bought it at just the right time. Being that it was built in Oct. of '21, it was probably one of the last of the model year which meant that any recalls were resolved before reaching the dealer. The way my vehicle is optioned, it was $5,405k cheaper than a 2024. I got an amazing APR of .9% which is unheard of today and I got tilting head rests along with an engine cover to hide the cable and hose management of the 2.0 engine. I don't think I'd have been able to pull it off today now that my basic dealer ordered Badlands with the Falkens, towing package, floor liners with carpets and premium paint color ads up to $41,795. I will be giving it an oil change and tire rotation for our 2 year anniversary this weekend and pray for snow soon so we can continue the 4 wheel fun.

Usually just over the islands in the parking lot where I work but there's also a couple of good trails along the power lines that aren't chained off so I sneak in every once in a while. Disclaimer: I don't recommend trespassing to anyone.

It’s pretty crazy what these cost these days. Same with the full size and I suppose all the other cars as well but I don’t follow those. I’m just glad I got mine before all the price increases.

It's as if the manufacturers are setting the sticker prices to be the same as the dealers were marking them up a couple of years ago. Who knows?
The lady of the house kept telling me that I was foolish for buying it when I did insisting that it was the worst time to buy a car. Well, it's much worse now and it doesn't look like it'll get better any time soon so I finally won an argument!! :turkey:

The internet sales guy at my local dealer has been sending me emails when they get new cars in. The two most recent was a notice when they got a Bronco Raptor, and when they got a Heritage Edition. Both of these vehicles were priced over $75K. The sales guy was "ecstatic" that they could offer me these vehicles at MSRP.

I sent him an email a couple of days ago to let him know I wasn't in the market for a new car, and that even if I was I wouldn't spend $75K+ for ANY car--unless I won the lotto.

The Heritage Edition would have been a limited or lots of ADM at 75k. The Braptor would be a deal 75k for someone with the funds to pay that amount. I paid just over 40k for my 2 Door Heritage only because of Ford’s private offer for us with early reservations and an outstanding dealer. That is now at 52k for 24. Look at what our BS’s have gone up in two years.
