Hi. What would happen if I buy only 4 tires 245 and leave the original spare tire (225)? Could I use it in case of need without problems?
Yes. The system will disable 4WD functions to protect itself. You should plan to have the correct-size tire repaired ASAP.

Going to get some Toyo Open County AT3 installed this week and was wondering if anyone has some insight into the differences between 235/65/17 vs 245?

One of my main concerns is that the 245's will be juuussst a tiny bit too big to fit comfortably in the spare tire well.

My other concern is that the 235's wont look as beefy as the 245's, but they're so close in size I can't see there being a big difference.
The only difference is the chest thumping.
Most follow the bigger is better or the more the better philosophy. Choose what works for you.

245s are a half inch wider. Go with 235s

245s are about a 1/2” wider. Your better off with 235s and wildpeak at3w they only weight 31.1 pounds.
