Post pics please ?I just bought some Scorpion All Terrain Plus 245/65/17 online. Hope to have them installed by next weekend.
Ford says the max you can fit on a BL/FE are 30.5s. 245s should be around 29.5 so we should be OKI seems to me that most of the folks on this forum that have gone to 245's have chosen BFG KO2s. Myself included. My BL came with Falken Wildpeaks 235/65/17 and after a month in CO on trails and forest roads I replaced with the KO2s. I wasn't unhappy with them, they are great tires. I just wanted a more aggressive tread because I often drive in muddy or snowy pastures with no roads. I got stuck twice last winter and I'm tired of that.
The Wildpeaks are super quiet, the KO2s a littler noiser. But not bad. My son has run KO2's on a couple of F150s. He got 80,000 miles on the first one and has 75,000 on his current truck. Still a lot of tread on those tires. I've never put this many miles on a vehicle before I traded it, so don't anticipate replacing these. Both of these are good tires, you won't go wrong with either. If you don't have a BL/FE I suspect the 245s will rub without a lift. I'm not sure mine won't under a lot of articulation. I don't want a lift.
I was wondering about these let me know. I went with the Toyo open country 3s but haven’t gotten them installed yet.I just bought some Scorpion All Terrain Plus 245/65/17 online. Hope to have them installed by next weekend.
I just want to clarify something, What car and tire combination were you on when when you got stuck, because I'm not 100% sure you are saying you got stuck with the BS while on the Falkens?I seems to me that most of the folks on this forum that have gone to 245's have chosen BFG KO2s. I'm saying I replaced the 235 Falkens with 245 KO2s because I wanted a more aggressive tread for mud and a stiffer sidewall for rock-strewn trails. Nice color, I choose the same for my BL.Ditto
You need to be more specific, unless you are just asking about the brand, in general. What specific GY Wrangler? You might want to check Tire Racks customer survey and/or their test results.Does anyone like Goodyears ???
I can't see putting "Wrangler" on a Bronco.Does anyone like Goodyears ???
Goodyear Wrangler® All-Terrain Adventure With Kevlar®
If you get the Sasquatch package on the big Bronco it comes with 35" Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires, but the OE tries don't have Wrangler on the sidewalls.I can't see putting "Wrangler" on a Bronco.
