Been a rider since, oh, '71. For all the admittedly dumb stuff I did back then, I've never laid one down (forgetting the sidestand that one time doesn't count!), never kissed pavement or another vehicle, only had one truly close call. As much as I jones for a new bike (or three), between cagers getting exponentially worse and turning 70 this year, I think my riding days may finally be over.

Still keeping my endorsement, though. You know, just in case...

I miss the track, a LOT. Even this 600rr was a blast. The Panigale at COTA was amazing. Haha, not AI. Crazy we have to worry about that.

I have had a couple get offs, but the worst was literally a high side over a car that turned in front of me at an intersection on a two lane road. I hit the back quarter panel at over 50 mph. Flipped over the car onto the blacktop. Even with full Dainese leathers and Arai lid I still fractured my tib & fib and sustained bruising and deep tissue damage in my ass. Cracked my favorite Haga replica lid which really pissed me off
