Are you feeling this in the steering wheel first or seat of the pants? Torque steer is typically felt first in the steering wheel.
I just recently replaced my OE tires that wore unevenly--inside tread wore faster than outside--in the last 5k-10k miles. Along with new tires, I had the alignment checked and discovered the front alignment was set toe out, that is the left tire was pointing slightly to the left, and the right tire was pointing slightly to the right. Up to now my car was always a bit squirrely under hard acceleration, requiring a firm touch on the wheel to keep it going straight. I assumed this was related to high power and a relatively short wheelbase. After the new tires and alignment the car tracks straight under acceleration. I don't know for sure if it was the tires or the alignment that fixed the issue, but I suspect it had more to do with alignment.
