There's nearly 20,000 members. If they all reply, this will be an epically long thread.

No, I've never had weird things end up on the floor pan. ?‍♂ Unless it came from a shoe. Can't even tell from a photo if that is water or oil. You said it's been there for weeks. So I assume not getting better or worse. What about just cleaning it up and seeing if it comes back? If it kept coming back and couldn't diagnose it, I'd sure take it to a tech.

It will also be long if people keep making DICK jokes about a sincere concern...

====================================================================

It has been there about two weeks...seems like it has "soaked" into the rubber...not wet and have not been able to remove the stain---and it appears to have been a one-time event (not getting bigger or wetter). I guess I'm just concerned because:

1) Never seen anything like this before.
2) Been reading in other threads about an oil leak issue with the Bronco Sport and was wondering if by chance this could be part of that situation.
3) So far the ONLY issue I have had with my Limited Edition Sport...

Thanks...

Any serious replies out there or is this a "junk" Forum?
To quote you from a reply you just made on someone else's thread: "Who the frick do you think we are. Service Technicians?....take it to the dealer, stupid..."

If your own contributions to the forum are junk, don't get upset when you get it in return.

When you tried to clean it, did you use a degreaser like a solvent or citrus-based cleaner? If you still can't get the mark out, you can put a piece of paper or something similar under your brake pedal to see if the leak persists and report back.

Or just take it to the dealer. You should still be under warranty. Just don't tell them it's a "Limited Edition" because such a trim doesn't exist. I assume you mean First Edition.

Have you checked the bottom of your shoes?

"Take it to the dealership and they can look at it". What other serious reply are you looking for? We're owners, not service techs. If you can't see or feel anything dripping from above, then I sure won't by touching my screen.
What does hydraulic fluid taste like?

Please do not "taste" the fluid. If you smell it, and then smell the fluid in the brake reservoir, that would tell you if it was most like brake fluid or not.

BTW, this definitely is not an "oil leak", although it might be an oily fluid, it is not engine oil.

It is a serious post...I have had the Bronco First Edition for just over a year. I took it to the Outer Banks to get it in some sand and took all the floor mats out and never put them back in. A few weeks ago I noticed this staining after it sat in my garage over the weekend. There was very heavy rain the Friday before---that is the only "odd" thing I can remember happening prior to the following Monday when I noticed these three stains (like three circles that merged)....
No stains on mine. Took up the liners and looked there as well.

Have the local Ford dealer take a look. They will be able to figure it out....

Ford Bronco Sport Strange stains on driver's floorboard under gas pedal... 3qzg9h

we are all very sorry you are having (insert issue here) with your (insert badge here) Bronco Sport. It appears the database is void of any similar occurances. Perhaps wipe, wash and see if it returns or can be replicated under similar conditions. If this is not possible, please take your (insert badge here) Bronco Sport to your nearest friendly Ford service department for a full evaluation. Have a wonderful day.
