It's the brakes letting go of the rotors - just normal operation.
Could also be the start stop accumulator failing. When they leak they can spray a fine mist of transmission fluid since it's under a decent amount of pressure and they can also cause the same squeaking noise OP is describing. OP, if for nothing else than peace of mind I suggest turning your steering wheel all the way to the right and looking around the driver's side wheel well for any trans fluid. You can also try to look from the engine bay but it's not easy to see. There's a recess on the trans housing that I've seen these leak and into, trans fluid will pool up there until you take a sharp turn or something. In this image the accumulator is on the top right (cylindrical in shape) it's job is to push some trans fluid under pressure starting from a stop. One spot they are known to leak from is the solenoid. Although there may not be a leak the noise could just be from the accumulator itself. Think of a giant syringe pushing trans fluid into the transmission at high pressure, the release of pressure could also cause the noise. From experience I don't think it has anything to do with the brakes but that's my professional opinion.

I can definitely tell it's my brakes that squeak/grind when I activate the start stop function, but good read. Thanks!
