Whenever I've got someone sitting in the right-side rear seat, I get a squeak that presents itself at seemingly random intervals. My kids aren't very helpful in tracking it down. Anyone else had a squeak from a similar area, and were you able to track it down? It's driving me nuts.

These sports love to creak squeak click and rattle when seasons change man. Every time temps change, warm to cold or vice versa, I get new sounds from random places. Currently my driver seat has decided it’s gonna squeak from under neath and I’m just accepting it

I did have sounds coming from the area you describe but they went away as the sport adjusted to the new season

My 24 BL when bought new, I had only one little squeak or rattle? Rear passenger side near the handle above window located to the right of the grip handle in the head liner. Drove me nuts, my fix was, I pushed in on the head liner near their a few times harder each time and bam, something kinda clicked? Back in? But that noise is gone. So, maybe a fixture clip not fully installed at mfg plant? Well, that's my 2 cents. Hope this helps.

Thanks, everyone. I was pretty impressed when I bought this car back in August. It was very tight. Maybe the weather is not helping, as it's cool in the morning and hot in the afternoons these days.

I did think the squeak might be related to the hidden compartment in the rear seat, but I can't find anything. I tapped around the grab handles too, but I did not find a smoking gun for the squeak. However, I did find that the handles aren't super tight to the ceiling, which might explain at least some of the many rattles I tend to hear these days. Whenever I have the stereo over about volume 5, I start to hear even more rattles. It's all a bit disappointing.

I get that this is Ford's cheapest model, but there's still no excuse after only 8 months and 4k miles as of yesterday. It's sad that $42k US is "cheap" these days.

Our "creaking" sound was a bad sway bar which was replaced. Problem solved at 37,000 mi.
