??? I didn’t post this out of the blue. I was responding to your claim that a narrower gap can prevent misfire.
Its common to reduce gap in turbo engine cause of so much cylinder pressure spark can struggle to jump the gap. But it looks like Ford specifies small gap already. My old SRT4 factory gap spec around .050 and I reduced to .032 to prevent misfires since I bent waste gate arm to up boost a few PSI.

The spec is .027 - .031. I don't check for a specific number. I usually just check that a .027 will pass thru and a .031 won't. They were all within spec.
Yeah thats a small gap Ford specs already reduced gap appropriately.

Have you replaced the plugs on your Badlands yet?

@Mark S. is right. There are pros and cons to short and wide gaps. I just dont want this thread to be about that. There is plenty of info on the internet or maybe even other threads here that address this.

I truly want to have one thread where 2.0 engines can talk about their experience in a plug change.

No because I tied up working on my other cars most of the time (6 total) and I only at 23k miles. But when I do I prob just gap to 0.29 or so per Ford specs.

I feel ya. I have a pretty decent gapping tool, and I like keeping mine all at the same length also. Maybe its the ocd in me. Since I'm not tuned, I'll probably just do .29 also. Keep it in the middle and allow some room for error and play.
