During my purchase of my 2023 BSBB (Alberta Canada), I was convinced to add the SmartProgram to deal with minor body chips, windshield chips and interior tears.

After my first year, I finally used the program and was completely disappointed. I only asked for rock chip repair and the results were less than what I could have done on my own with a nail polish brush. So much for the $3k+ that is worked into my financing.

Does anyone else have experience with this service?

3K? For that price you should get a complete paint job.

Never have heard of that option. Read the fine print and see what is exactly included.

You can go the SmartProgram website directly to file a claim or repair. I would suggest that your response from the dealer is unwillinglness to deal with the paperwork. I have never had any issues with them over 3 vehicles.

Might recommend another service centre for thew repair work

10-4 Still seems pricey for the "program".

Kid's are on their own. Hard to pull that off now.

My thoughts too, however with the extended warranty option I could see close to $3k. My previous Escape had the entire front suspension replaced under the extended program. Cost me $100.00 as opposed to the $2700.00 repairs. I was thankful for that!

I have the Ford PremiumCare extended warranty. Wouldn't be without it.

Reading the post, I thought the cost was just for the paint chip protection. Maybe it covers more.

Not sure what the Canadian Ford dealers offer.
