Well the last 3 years and 51k miles with my 22’ Big Bend have been great. Many miles of smiles and adventures to places that people never expected to see a Sport tackling. But… all good things come to an end. I made the decision to trade in my BSBB on a 2025 F-150 Lightning to take advantage of the tax credit before it goes away next month. Getting used to the “EV” thing but I will say I’m am extremely satisfied with this trucks performance and features. A trip to Orlando and back Ft Myers cost me $48.00 bucks and 35 mins of my time that was occupied at a store next to the charging station.

Instead of being one of those people that make a good riddance post I’ll be staying around to help those here. I had some warranty heartache along the way with my BS but it was a very fun and much more capable vehicle that most people give it credit for. I had a blast owing it and will stick around to help others as much as I can.

I hope you enjoy your Lightning. I enjoyed mine for the 25 years I owned it. Of course mine got 10 miles per gallon and required premium fuel! That vehicle had range issues before it was popular! Even with two 17.5 gallon tanks I was hard pressed to get past 250 miles before needing gas. Not sure I could ever make the switch to EV in my lifetime but you never know. My hand could be forced by politicians.

It was a great tow vehicle. The 4.10 rear end and really wide lower profile tires were great. Mileage really didn’t drop much even towing.
