Thank you all. ~150 miles in an i'm averaging 23.8mpg
I wouldn't rely on the system-computed number all that much. Most report that figure as optimistic. To get the most accurate fuel economy figure fill up and reset your trip meter. Drive the car far enough to use at least three tanks of gas while keeping track of how much fuel you put in. After the third fill, divide the number of miles on the trip meter by the number of gallons you put in the car. This ensures you average out all the many, many factors that can affect fuel economy.

Lastly, I wouldn't get too concerned about fuel economy until your engine has fully broken in. Perform the above procedure after you have at least 1,000 miles on the ODO.

2024 Bronco Sport Big Bend
Hello from Winnipeg, MB, Canada! I've had my '24 Bronco Sport Big Bend for just over a week and I've loved every moment with it.

I was on a trek to trade in my FWD vehicle for AWD/4WD since I've been going to quarries more and more and sometimes I'd miss out if the weather was bad and my old ride was at risk of getting stuck.

After test-driving nearly every option within my budget (Chevy Trailblazer, Subaru Crosstrek, Hyundai Kona, Kia Seltos, and Jeep Compass to name a few) and researching the heck out of everything, I knew the Bronco Sport was what I wanted. Plus, I've been driving around small Broncos for months now - as in 1:24-1:10 scale RCs. :giggle:

Hello.

Recent flood victim... Got flooded by Isaac '12, Ida '21, and Francine '24.

Francine took out my Honda Accord with flood waters. So we are looking to get a vehicle with slightly higher water survivability.

The local Bayou Ford dealer had a 2023 Bronco Sport Heritage on the lot with 15,000 miles.

So we decided to give the Bronco Sport a try. The dealer seemed to think that the Bronco Sport would be a high mileage vehicle.*

My prior vehicles were a Ford Taurus 200+k, then a '03 Chevy Silverado 300+k, then a '16 Honda Accord with 180+k.

Nick

* I was thinking "Jeep". I asked to look at his teeny, tiny, almost new Jeep Compass. I sat in it, fiddle with the knobs - and immediately sprayed windshield wiper fluid in his eye.

Since the windshields were also covered with water spray, i tried to turn on the wipers. ... and the wipers did not work ! The agent tried to force them to work on the outside.. no joy.

The vehicle did have one benefit, it came with some nice (exceedingly ugly in man-speak terms) ladies eye glasses in the glove compartment.

That kind of ruled out the Jeep line - and got me into this baby Bronco.

2022 Bronco Sport Badlands
Howdy from central Texas and the Highland Lakes. We were casually looking at small SUVs, not really shopping. I started looking at the Bronco Sport and the more I researched the better they looked. Over the last 21 years we have had three JEEP Wranglers. In fact we still own the first one we bought in 2003.
The idea of a small SUV seemed like a good fit. I found the used 2022 Bronco Sport Badlands at a local dealer. We had some long conversations about buying another vehicle. There really wasn't a pressing need for another vehicle. We have the JEEP, a Ford King Ranch F150 and a Tacoma.
But the idea of a small SUV with the capabilities of the Bronco Sport Badlands was really intriguing.
On November 1 we went to the dealer that had the used Badlands in stock. We kept our options open and looked at several 2024 Bronco Sport Big Bends. Any one of them would have made an excellent choice.
Then we looked at the used 2022 Badlands. The Area 51 color really caught our eye. The way the Badlands is set up, the features, and again that color convinced us to go for a test drive. I really liked how responsive it was, the four wheel independent suspension rode like a dream. Then the salesman told me something I had not learned during my research. The Badlands has the 2.0L Eco Boost Turbo engine.
It instantly became a no-brainer when we considered the used Badlands was about the same cost as the new Big Bend Bronco Sports.
So we took the Badlands home.
I look forward to learning more about the Bronco Sports and seeing all the things everyone is doing with their Bronco Sports.
I'm glad to be here.

Dennis

ETA: I forgot to mention the Badlands had less than 9,000 miles on it.

Hi, Rick from the Central Jersey Shore here.
I just bought my 2023 Big Bend 2 days before Christmas. Came back to Ford (5 Explorers and a F-250) after a couple of GMCs. The last being a 2020 Terrain that I owned for 361 days, nice little SUV just really wasn't for me.
