Saturated / flooded / wet passenger floorboard

Brand new 2024. Within 3 weeks the new car scent was overtaken by a musky odor, then it started to smell like vomit.

A few days ago I lifted the mat to vacuum. I discovered a saturated floorboard. It took 2 hours to shop vac a gallon of water. This water had been accumulating and sitting over a seven week period.

Today it rained for an hour, I vacuumed for 40 minutes and got about a half a gallon of water.

Anybody else having this flooded passenger floorboard issue?

My guess is if you don't have a sunroof the windshield seal failed.

Just curious how prevalent this is in Bronco Sports. Going to the shop tomorrow. Feeling very disappointed that a brand new car Ihas had water passing through under dash wiring only to sit in my floor and fester. The upholstery and carpet had absorbed the vomit smell for weeks before I discovered the source. I always ride with my windows down otherwise I might have not noticed it sooner.

I've had mine 2..5 years and no water issues and it's rained for 40 days and 40 nights here it seems lately.

I checked my passenger front floor yesterday it was bone dry and that was after it poured down rain earlier in the day. It's a 2023 i got it on December 20,2023.
