Same thing happened to me. Except I purchased my vehicle from Carvana and my mechanic thinks it was broken coming off the car hauler. Maybe dropped it too hard.Well I snapped the sway bar link drop bracket on a mild 2/10 off road trail. One side fully snapped off and disconnected and the other side seriously bent.
I have gone back to the OEM sway bar end links without the drop bracket. As far as I can tell this should work fine as the 2 other kits a available don’t use a drop bracket or shortened links?
the steering with the oem links is far far better and slightly better but still bumpy ride quality.
also as far as I know that when you increase lift you would want to extend your sway bar end links not shorten them. The rough country is about 4 inches shorter than the ford pieces and far far worse quality.![]()

Didn't realize it was lifted until everyone at the Ford dealership was scratching their heads trying to figure out what part it was.
I purchased the broken link and hoping that’s all that needs to be repaired/replaced. Ford recommended maybe taking the whole kit off but then I realized that it being lifted just gives it such a better look. Needless to say I’m not happy.
