I had 2 of the older Escapes. I bought my wife a new 2003, and replaced that with a 2011. Only problem here in New York State was the road salt. Both vehicles rusted out so bad they would not pass inspection. The lower tail gate area was especially bad. I hope my '23 OBX doesn't have similar problems.

Same problem here in Wisconsin. Rear quarters are gone. With the brine they put down now as a pre-treat is even worse.

I removed all of my rear badges after a weeks worth of ownership. The letters look to big really for the size of the vehicle. Much better from a cleaning perspective too.

I really like how you repositioned the model badge to go with the runner stripe. It also gave you enough room in that same vicinity to add the bronco script on both sides. Well done!

So removing the letters is sorta like flossing your teeth....???
Sort of, but you shouldn’t find parts of the last meal you ate!
