Rear passenger window wont go up or down

Hey guys, I have a 2023 ford bronco sport, My rear passenger window will not roll up or down. Makes a click sound when the button is engaged on the driver and passenger door buttons. Any way i can fix this? dealer cant get me in until the end of July and my window is stuck down.

This isn’t much help in terms of fixing the window but my dealership has an option to drop the vehicle off and techs will grab them if they have time. I couldn’t get mine in for 2 months one time but dropped it off and had it back the next day. Might be worth looking into?

just did that, their gonna see if they can at least roll it back up for me until the actual appointment. Id bet its a switch. Not a good start to a brand new suv lol

Same thing happened to me quite a while back. I posted on here, and folks mentioned this was a known issue with Mavericks as well.

Based on this forum and Google, I tried all sorts of troubleshooting steps (insofar as I am not a car guy and am stupid on such matters lol). Nothing helped, so I called every dealership in the area to see which one could work me in first. I caught a break in that I had an appointment within a week.

Per the repair-work-completed document from that appointment: "Did not operate from front switch. Replaced left front door master window switch per test".

If I recall correctly, it took them all of 15 minutes to do the work on this.

Knocking on wood, but I haven't had a problem since that repair in June of 2023.

burned out window motor for the win. Not a good sign for a vehicle just over a year old. That and the rear window was barely ever used. Fuckin ford.

I just had the same thing happen Friday! Rear passenger window rolled down but not back up (just before a road trip). Makes a clicking sound at the door and smells a little hot. A little pissed that a 1.5 year old 2023 Bronco Sport Heritage had this issue!!! Will be calling the dealer 1st thing Monday!

Follow-up: Wednesday - All dealerships around me were 4-6 weeks full for repairs, but the one in town suggested I leave it and they might fit it in between. They managed to get it done in the same day - turns out it was a master switch issue, covered by our warranty!

If I could get “crank” windows and manual adjust seats (forward/reaward, recline, height, and tilt kinda like seats I had on an 86 Pontiac) with automatic & p/s like I had on 86 -89 Jeeps I jump on it in a heart beat.
