What did your dealer charge for the insulation kit? Do you have the part number? I was told by Ford it was not needed, but it will help protect the paint here in New Mexico with the summer heat.

I got mine for $92.00 from Ford parts, shipped to my dealer (no charge) and I then picked it up. I used the "points" thing to buy it.
I don't hear any difference in sound, but cleans up the underhood area.
