I've ordered my BS BL from Port Orchard Ford, and hopefully at some point before I'm in a retirement home I'll be out there with all you. I plan on many coast trips (have family property in Ocean Shores), Mountain Loop Highway, and maybe one day Obstruction Point.

Congratulations!! We bought our Badlands in September and have just hit 8000 trouble-free miles and just hit 40000 trouble-free miles on our Ranger.

OK, Obstruction Point looks like an awesome drive! how fun would it be to do that in a group of sports.

Obstruction Point road should open mid-July. It's not that bad. Deer Park road east of Port Angeles to the top, now that would be a better Bronco road.

There was another woman picking up her BS OB in Area 51 at the same time I was Picking up my BL in Velocity Blue. The transport came in on 6 April. West Hills unloaded a larger SUV, in red, on to the showroom. Then had to pull it out so someone could test drive it. They were planning to buy it, if the drive went well. It was fun to people watch the staff. They were all looking at each other. I heard one from the office say ‘didn’t we just put that there, where’s it going?’

My production was 9 March 2022. VIN begins with a 3, so Mexico plant. Arrived West Hills Ford in Bremerton 6 April 2022.

If mine follows roughly that timeline it will show up when I'm not in 12 hour shiftwork, so that helps.

The Obstruction Point Road (at Hurricane Ridge) is only open for 3 miles, and there's not a whole lot to see, but it's a fun little out and back if it's not crowded.

Current outings: Hurricane Ridge 4 times (2 times out Obstruction Point Road), Ocean Shores 3 times, Mt Rainier Paradise, Sol Duc, Staircase, various forest roads for hikes on the Quilcene River, Lower Greywolf, Murhut Falls, and various state parks. I'm a week short of 4 months of ownership and have 6000 miles on the Bronco. There's only a couple more days of good weather, so tomorrow I may call out and run down to hike the Naches Peak Loop. So far this is the absolute perfect vehicle for the PNW.

Put in an order for a MY23 Badlands in Atlas Blue with Carbonized Grey roof. Had to order a second one because the order went in with Body Color Roof. They are supposed to be in Production week 7/3 and 7/10. Both are showing in Production now, but I haven’t got the email. Just a heads up to you Bremerton Squids and family. Should be here by August and I’m only buying the one with the Grey roof.

Badlands plus premium package, co-pilot assist+, power moon roof, cargo management, tow package and Falken 235/65 R17 A/T tires.
