For what it’s worth, received an email from Ford last week saying my August order was now an April build.

My order officially just got pushed back Was originally March 15th, now April 12th...who knows how many more times this is going to happen...anyone else get the same message?

What if you know does that mean,(cleanup scheduling)? Thanks

The assembly plant will schedule a month’s worth of builds, then spend the next several weeks adjusting the schedule because of commodity issues and re-schedule any orders that didn’t get built the previous cycle. Sometimes they will move some orders up that don‘t have any commodity restrictions (an example would be moonroofs and tow packages that are currently in short supply).

My 07/29 order was scheduled originally for 02/08 but has slipped 3 times now to week of 03/08. I received email notifications the last change, which I learned from my dealer. I‘m hoping it’s done sliding. ?

Same boat as you..I was expecting another delay since watching the trends of this thread. Originally 3/1, 3/8, then today..4/5.. sarcastically can't wait for another production delay email for May. I made a inquiry to my local dealer to see if they can find a similar color and trim.

Yeah, I've begun looking for other options as well. Going to keep my order, but shop around at the same time. I'm thinking this must be due to the semiconductor shortage.

My dealer said delays were due to the moonroof. Obviously that is not the case if any of you do not have the moonroof option.

My dealer had no idea about any of the delays. I've learned everything from this forum.

Hey Moderators, I'm going to try to keep this thread updated, so it probably makes more sense to change the title of the thread to just "Production Week Scheduling" and remove the "-- Week of 1/18/21"
