Toyota already did the same last year when I was considering a RAV4 Adventure. Suddenly their build & price only offered minimal options, when before the pandemic there were a ton of option packages available. The supply chain disruption is brutal.
It's bizarre... my order date was 12-12, and the tracking has not moved past "order confirmed", even though my dealer says I'm slated for this month as well...
Just read on the WSJ that it's definitely the semi-conductors holding back production...

Same here, and no emails from Ford, either. VIN was obtained by dealer. 'Order confirmed' status in the Ford tracker since 12/12. You can add your VIN into your online profile/vehicle list, but still doesn't show as an order.
I didn't either, initially. Then I visited the dealer, who showed me that a VIN, associated with my name, was produced. Touch base with your sales person, and they may be able to do the same.
Can anyone share insight on my situation?
-Ordered BL/BL with tow on 12/12
-I have a VIN and it shows my last name, too
-no production date or emails from Ford?
I ordered a Badlands, and I thought I came across a center console vault option when I was initially researching/building. Apparently it shows as an option on the other trims, but not under the Badlands builder. However, I just happened to see this under seat OEM vault when doing a web search...
I guess there wouldn't be anything stopping one from ordering the black badging part, and installing themselves. I just think it would look a lot better than resorting to Plastidip...
It looks like the white Badlands is the only version without contrasting Bronco Sport badging on the back... does anyone know if there's a way to order it with black badging? I'd rather not resort to Plastidipping this when I get it...
