So so happy with how it turned out! Hubs works for Les Schwab and they had everything done in an hour and a half. Luckily got some fresh spring snow here in Tahoe this morning to take it out for a spin! ❤

First camping trip with the BS BL in a canyon near Canyonlands NP. Makes "car camping" easy!
Just took a motorcycle trip around the Canyonlands area--it's breathtakingly gorgeous. Can you share details about the specific area where you drove to camp?

Sure. But don't tell anyone! We drove into the south unit of Canyonlands on highway 211. Just east of the park entrance there's a sign for Hamburger Hill campground, on BLM land. That road, to the north, is is Lock Hart Rd. We camped at the end of the road, just before the stream crossing. The more adventurous people in 4WD trucks crossed the stream and climbed the far canyon wall, even crossing a high slot in the peak of the far canyon wall. Awesome place to camp - almost no traffic, absolute silence, amazing view of stars. We counted six shooting stars early in the evening. Always pays to ask a ranger where they'd camp if they wanted to get away from the crowds.

I know I’ll be taking more, but these are my favorites so far, the the first and last ones are when I first got to see her after being delivered while they were prepping her.

Less then 400 miles on her so far but really enjoying how great she is on surf trips up to Bolinas, CA. I have to say the 1995 4Runner I just replaced was no match to the fun on the winding roads with the sound system up a few notches that I have now. I am especially enjoying the rear tailgate lights for the post surf wash down when I come home after dark.
If you surf and have a oval shaped cross bar I highly recommend the Rhino Rack surf pad and straps set up, RWP03. The straps have a Velcro tie on them to keep them bundled when your not using them and they also have rubber all around the buckle to protect your roof paint.
