Started hearing this a few days ago. Took it to the Ford dealer near by and they at first did not see or hear anything until he was backing it out of the bay. Then when he heard it he put it in 4WD and it threw up to codes. One was "Invalid Data Received From All Wheel Drive Control Module" and "4WD/AWD Disconnect Clutch Speed Sensor".
The tech was walking around scratching his head and smoking cigs like he had no clue as what to do. They had it for almost 5 hours and I needed to go because of plans I had. They assured me it was ok to drive and as soon as they got a loaner they would call me in to drop my BS Badlands off for them to diagnose the problem and order parts.
Anyone have this problem? I did see where a guy with a full size Bronco had this problem and they had to replace it three times. I sure hope that's not going to happen to me.
