Just a couple of pics of my aftermarket hitch. It's from Curt. Found it online for $181. You can see the place did a great job of cutting the bumper!

It was. They did a nice job. He was very at cutting the bumper. Go to Carparts.com. that was cheapest price I found for the Curt hitch. The place I had it indtalled, does that kind of work.....hitches, brush guards etc. He's installed them on Spots

It was. On the Curt website they want like $310. The place where I got the hitch, now wants $238. Still a good price. The big difference between Curt and the hitch from Ford, is the install price. For the Ford hitch, it was $320 to have it installed. They have to remove the bumper. The Curt hitch was just $160 install.

I believe the factory hitch is installed higher up, so it doesn't affect your departure angle.

Curt 13474 class III hitch at Rockauto.com for $174.79. Appears to be much easier to install than the Draw Tite and better built than factory.

I believe the factory hitch is installed higher up, so it doesn't affect your departure angle.

It sure does. Here is my install of the OEM Trailer hitch AND OEM Trailer bumper cover.

Curt 13474 class III hitch at Rockauto.com for $174.79. Appears to be much easier to install than the Draw Tite and better built than factory.

Its much easier to install than the factory hitch. They have to remove the bumper for the factory hitch. $160 install for the Curt, $420 for the factory hitch!

Curt hitch easier to install and better in my opinion, under 180 at rock auto.
