So far, my assessment is very positive. Drives really well in town. Feels much less tippy than than the '05 Escape.
We live in the country so have some hills. BS took them easily -- more easily than the Escape. Probably the turbo. Was a little concerned with the 1.5L but I think it will prob be fine for us. Have not tried towing anything.
Only two things I'm not a huge fan of so far.
I like to sit up in the seat, and at my preferred position, I can't really see anything in the rear view mirror. I have to either hunch my head down or lower the seat position. The mirror can't be raised as high as I'd like. Haven't played with it much, so maybe there's a workaround.
And then the displays I find a little garish.
But very nice to have a car that consistently starts again
