Hey all, I'm stuck between the Tackform mount and the Bulletpoint mount for my dash. I think it would be neat to have an adaptable panel for different accessories such as phones, cameras, radios, etc. Although I'm caught between the two options. In reality, I prefer the low-profile design of the Tackform, but it is hard to warrant the $110 price tag. even with a discount code. I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with either of these two mounts and could steer me in the right direction.

We have the bulletpoint mount. It is a heavy duty, well made piece. It comes with all the tools needed for installation. We use it to mount a light controller and our “bronco buddy”. It did vibrate some, so I put some felt between the mount and dash piece. It’s perfect now.

I personally like the clean stock look. Looks like it might be too much hardware in my opinion. I have a no frills Weather Tech Cup Phone Holder which also allows me to utilize the lightning plug for CarPlay, with a cord that is retractable.
I do have a Dash Cam that I mounted under my mirror.
It took some time to find the best way to affix it there. I didn’t want the original suction cup on my windshield. It’s out of my way with minimal hardware.
Good luck.

Nice and secure. iPhones with MagSafe seems to be the issue with that type of phone mount solution.
