I had some metal flake off of my window buttons today. I called my dealership and they said this is a brand new recall on bronco sports and escapes and they will take care of it so might be worth reaching out.

The silver paint started peeling off the middle console! Anyone else have this problem?? It looks like a chip, but it's the silver stuff peeling right off.
Also, excuse the dirt haha.

Yeah this is a known issue across multiple Ford cars. Workmanship issue

That's good news, i will look into it!
My brother recently purchased a 2021 Bronco Sport and he has a similar problem. On his the chrome on both rear window switches that are located on the driver door panel is peeling so badly that he has sliced his fingers multiple times. Did you have yours repaired and was it covered under a recall?

The chrome on my window buttons is also peeling and a bit sharp, but not to the point of cutting anyone.
My wife's 2015 VW had a really bad peeling issue on the center console, we both cut our fingers. Shortly afterwards we got a recall notice and they replaced the trim for free.

noticed the finish pealing on the steering wheel buttons as well :-(
Peeling finish was a big problem during the Covid - hand sanitizer era - seems that the chemicals in the hand sanitizer causes the finish to peel. Best to wear Nitrile Exam Gloves when in the Bronco Sport ?
