Painted Roof OB Badlands

For what ever reason, the painted roof on the Badlands has been a strange issue. I actually preferred the same color roof but at the time of ordering, it wasn’t allowable.

Same, having options is a plus. For Cactus Grey, I think CG + CG looks sharp -- that's what I would have ordered for my Badlands if it were available at the time.

For some of the "flashier" colors, I'd prefer the black roof to mellow them out.

An underappreciated aspect of the Sport is that the shape + optional black roof + black/grey trim pieces help break up colors that otherwise are "too much." I saw a Ford Ranger in Cyber Orange and it looked terrible. But the Cyber Orange + black roof on the Sport looks awesome since the orange isn't as overwhelming.

This is a change for Job 2 which will start scheduling next week for May Production. Body Color for is standard on Badlands and Outer Banks. Black roof is optional on both and gray roof optional on Badlands.

Is there gonna be an Order Guide update? Build and Price still defaults to Black roof for OB and BL. When I select Body Color Roof option it forces Exterior Color to Shadow Black? So this extra cost Black or Gray roof is not reflected on Build and Price? Order Guide?

Funny thing about us humans and myself for that matter (lol) is that I wanted to have my CG BLs roof painted to match the rest of the vehicle.

but after reading that this is now a “paid option” now I want to keep it !

I’ll never be able to keep with the Joneses. Hahahhaja. Obviously for most of us modding and accessorizing these fun and capable off-roaders is half the fun !

I wondered why my 2023 BB had a grey roof when everyone else had a black roof? So I ordered a matching grey spoiler... but everyone else has a black spoiler?? Now I'm even more confused...
