Hey all,

Long time listener, first time caller.

I was wondering if Ford (or anyone) sells paint touch up pens? I had a few cars over my years that came with one at purchase and included the body color of the vehicle. As my name implies, my BS has been through the ringer. I am actually on my second BS after the first one was in a hit-and-run, and then totaled an hour after I picked it up from getting fixed...

My current BS has a chip on the hood, scratch under my front bumper (my father tried to maneuver around me and scuffed my bumper), a scratch on my driver door, and a pretty nasty door ding on rear passenger door right on the body line about 1/3 up the door. I will likely hit up a paintless dent removal business for the door, but was hoping for more of a home fix on the scratches without having access to or know-how on buffing and other vehicle compounds. Already had to deal with the cracked windshield a few months ago. I think I am about good on vehicle damage for a decade or so now...

I have the shadow black color if it helps at all.

You are really cursed! I found a minor scratch on my BS the day after pickup, I mentioned to the salesman and he have a complimentary touch up pain sendero to me, that arrived a month later. But none came as standard.

That is the one I received the other day, and which I just used on a super tiny spot.

I have never used a paint pen before, but the instructions on the box seemed pretty straight forward. After a good 10 minutes trying to get it to flow though, I ended up just taking the top off and using the brush applicator instead.

Of course, right after doing that I tried the pen tip one more time and it started flowing like a river. (I am guessing I should have given it longer between shaking and trying to apply it?)

In any case, it seems to be a legit product. Should work just fine for ya.
