Hi all, new to the forum here... I Ordered a 2022 BS Badlands Carbonized Gray (PP, moonroof, Co-Pilot360, tow pack) on 11/27/2021. I received an email confirmation from Ford the same day, but radio silence since. My sales rep hasn't been super helpful when I have reached out to him for an update. Any idea when my BS should go into production/ when I can expect a VIN/ and what my estimated delivery would be? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Ordered on October 1st and got the confirmation right away, just like you. Didn't get the "production scheduled" email until January 20th, stating that its going to be built the week of February 21st.

If the timeframe is consistent, you wont hear back until March-ish.

How long once it’s scheduled for production until it actually arrives at the dealers?

I actually just got an email late last night, my build date has been pushed from the week of 21 February to the week of 28 February.

Anyway, once it gets scheduled, you'll receive an email similar to the one you got for your order confirmation. The email will state fords perceived production (i.e. build) date of your vehicle.

Once they start building your actual vehicle, from first nut & bolt to the final wipe of a buffing cloth at the factory, I don't think it takes any longer than a single day for it to be considered officially "built" and finished. Once its built, you'll get another update email that reflects that information and the date.

After that, once it ships, you will again get yet another email stating that it has shipped and the date of that, too.

As far as the shipping process once it is officially built, I would figure that it has to be slotted into a delivery group, then that delivery group has to be loaded onto the railway cars, the railway will take it to the general vicinity of your dealer, and then it will be loaded on to a car-carrier for final delivery to your dealer.

This is all my logical assumption of the process. So, in short, beats me lol. But from built to final delivery, it probably takes no less than 2 weeks time - but very probably longer.

Thank you for your detailed response! Another week, and I still haven't heard a word. I was thinking about contacting my sales rep to see if I could switch my tire/rim choice from my original order (the old-school "steelies" have really grown on me). Do you know if this would be possible? Is this something that could be done through my dealership once the vehicle finally arrives, where I wouldn't have to purchase a section set of tires/rims additionally?... I just worry about any last minute changes delaying my order. Thanks again, any feedback would be helpful. Cheers.

My order was confirmed on 10/28/2021 with production scheduled week of 01/31/2022. An email from the dealer said build was scheduled for 02/03/2022. Status went to in production on 01/28/2022. Stayed that way until 02/08/2022 when both in production and built status got a check mark with the 02/08/2022 date.

Weird. I ordered a day before you. I contacted my dealership and they said that some Ford plants have been shut down once again due to chip/ supply issues, so that may be causing the delay.

Edit: I misread that... I ordered 11/27, so actually a month after you

I’d contact your dealer anyways. Mine was honest with me that any additions at this time could introduce delays, but that they could & were willing to change anything I wanted. All I was looking at were accessories they could add from their parts dept. though so I didn’t change a thing. I’d think a change should still be possible.

Contact your dealer. A lot of people in here ordered in the fall and got 1/24 and 1/31 production dates and they, as far as I know anyway, all got built by now and weren’t delayed.

Same boat. My sales guy is a great guy to be sure, but I’m not sure they’re given any real info to work with. I’m also not sure they’re used to dealing with people who scour forums for more information than they’re given.

Now having said that, my build is much the same as yours (minus the moonroof, & different color) and I ordered 11/6/21. Nothing either yet. I don’t think they’re up to scheduling November order dates yet, so probably nothing too much to worry about. But it sure would be nice to know more. Here’s hoping soon for us November folks!
Hey there? Did you get an order number by any chance?

Hey Groot. There is an order code of B333 on the sheet but I’m not sure what that means. The sales code on the sheet I’m assuming is dealer related but I could be wrong.
Edited to add the order sheet I got FWIW. I can’t recall which thread I’d shared it in but if it wasn’t recently in this one then my post may not make sense without it.
Ford Bronco Sport Ordered 11/27/21, still yet to be scheduled for production. Should I be concerned? 95F7FDB7-1933-4183-9F35-FFD0C8C78CAE

Hey there
That is the your sales rep number, the R9D is the code for the bronco sport you ordered, so long as they certified it, it's approved to be built and you should get a tracking number, that's the number you can watch any updates
Hope this helps
