Order tracking, progress

My story.... originally placed a 2021 Badlands with Badlands premium pkg April 12, 2021... was told in August would be filled with a 2022.... order "lost"... new order placed and confirmed Oct 19... received confirmation same day. I was thrilled to get a production date on November 19.... but the production date is not until Jan 24! Any idea how long the production period is? I asked Ford but shocker.... no response. Thank you!

I ordered simalar vehicle about Sept 15... got a build date around 11/8.... last week build date went to 12/6 I think... anyway your second order was about 30 days and your new build is about 30 days past mine - throw in some holiday down time....

It could be any day in your production week and then it takes 2 days to build the vehicle before it goes for inspection and then shipping.

When it goes into production it takes generally 2 days to build…that is a big WHEN.

Most of us who had orders that went in at the very start of the MY22 order banks have been pushed to December.

Odd a 4/21 order never got built before they stopped building in the first week of November. If your only communication was from your dealer I doubt they ever put in your 2021 order at all. They didn’t lose it. They blew it off.

If your dealer was the one that told you November production date of 11/19 for an October order … again they are ganking you around with BS…. I would not trust them at all. All production week dates are Mondays. 1/24 makes sense.

Make sure this time you have a DORA in hand that shows Ford received your order. And if you call about your production week require they give you a screen shot of the visibility report they are pulling it from

Thank you!! Totally agree the first dealership jerked me! I do have confirmation from Ford this time with a VIN and window sticker. Just been crazy!! I am such a Ford loyalist but this one definitely made me think twice! Good luck to all of us!!

You have a window sticker already? Those usually only come the week of production.

Window sticker posted a couple days ago, modules are now posted as well... I would think thats a lot of progress.

BSBL with all the electronics, just under 90 days from order confirmation.

now Ford site says ETA 1/7/22... however, status is "in production"... that was moved up from 1/13, I doubt the ETA is accurate.
