I had originally put a deposit on a Maverick last October. The dealer wouldn't give me any updates. Sad to say, I found out that I wouldn't see it until around the following October, maybe later.

I did some looking online and found a few dealers with the Bronco Sport available. The closest dealer to me had 5 in stock, one is the one I purchased after a good road test.

It's a Cactus Gray, Outer Banks. It's a great SUV! Got it for 35k and change.

I would bet that the BS you want is at a dealer, you may have to travel a bit because the dealers aren't sharing inventory. I'm very happy with the Outer Banks that I have! Good luck!

Seems dealers are only allowed to order certain configurations, and what I ordered is not one of those. Finding it at a dealer is not an option.
I did confirm with my dealership today that by approved they meant the COVP was approved.

Ford will generally honor the MSRP price from when you place the order, you just have to make sure you order from a deal thats not doing mark up. I didnt even have to place a deposit with the dealer as their logic was if you dont purchase it we can turn around and sell it pretty quick, but that is up to each individual dealer (and some dealers might pull some shady crap without a deposit). I hadnt heard they stopped taking orders for now but I've been pretty slammed at work all day today.

Yeah, no chance at all of getting it in May. I ordered in October and got mine in February.

I'm scheduled for production week after week after next, but shipping is probably 4 weeks to push me out to mid June for delivery.

KingPrawn, to help you pass the time, I think you should give us a daily update of one thing on your order and why you chose that (or why you excluded something).

For example, Monday explain why that model, Tuesday color, etc.
